One of the best National Parks trips that I've ever taken was to start with Crater Lake, and then just drive north through Oregon and Washington, hitting all four of their National Parks along the way.
It made for an awesome trip; some of the most incredible National Park scenery in the US. These are some places that I'd recommend checking out in each park:
Crater Lake 🏕️
- The Pinnacles
- Discovery Point
- Watchman Peak
- Rim Trail
- Sun Notch
Mount Rainier 🏔
- Skyline Trail
- Reflection Lake
- Tipsoo Lake
- Fremont Fire Tower
- Burroughs Mountain
Olympic 🌿
- Hurricane Ridge
- High Ridge Trail
- Mount Storm King
- Hoh Rainforest
- Ruby and Rialto Beach
North Cascades 🌲
- North Cascades Highway
- Washington Pass Overlook
- Cascade Pass
- Ladder Creek Falls
- Diablo Lake
This trip is perfect for summer when the weather is warmer and the snow is receding, June–September. I'd allow a minimum of three weeks for the trip.
